Red Nikkei, Bangkok

Located in Khlong Toei, Bangkok, Red Nikkei is a 146-square-metre architectural project that establishes a bold identity for a contemporary Japanese–Peruvian dining destination. The scope of work encompassed architectural design from concept development through construction documentation, translating the restaurant's unique culinary concept into a distinctive spatial experience.

The architectural language is defined by clean cubic forms and strong geometric compositions, creating a modern and expressive identity that reflects the dynamic character of the brand. A carefully balanced interplay of solid volumes, open spaces, and linear elements reinforces the project's contemporary aesthetic while providing a memorable arrival experience.

At the heart of the design is a sculptural staircase finished in the brand's signature red. More than a circulation element, it serves as the project's architectural focal point, introducing a bold visual statement that embodies the energy and personality of Red Nikkei. The vibrant colour creates a striking contrast against the restrained material palette, strengthening the brand identity and establishing a memorable spatial landmark.
